The Challenge

Family owned and operated, Taylor Linens aims to provide excellent service and quality products that intertwine the needs of today with the workmanship of yesterday. They wanted to increase their online presence and sales, so they needed a brand refresh and a new modern responsive website that accommodated both retail and wholesale subscribers.

Brand Discovery

Collaborating with Taylor Linens to build their website involved an in-depth brand discovery process to ensure the digital presence truly reflected the essence and heritage of the company. The process began with extensive research into Taylor Linens’ history, core values, and product offerings, aiming to capture the timeless elegance and quality that define the brand. Interviews and workshops with key stakeholders provided valuable insights into the brand’s unique selling points and target audience, which informed the design and functionality choices for the website.

Web Design

One of the goals of the redesign was to breathe new life into the client’s online presence. Understanding the importance of aesthetics in home textiles, special attention was given to creating a visually appealing and intuitive user interface that showcased the beauty and craftsmanship of their products. This involved selecting a clean, sophisticated design palette and incorporating high-quality imagery to highlight the intricate details of their linens. The goal was to create a digital experience that not only attracts and engages visitors but also conveys the warmth, comfort, and luxury that Taylor Linens stands for. The online shopping experience was streamlined to include new categories and filters for their large catalogue. In addition to their revamped web presence, a great deal of print collateral was designed for marketing and trade shows.

Development

The site was equipped with a wholesale and retail registration and login feature, a store locator map, and a tool to sync their online orders with Quickbooks to help streamline accounting. One of the main objectives was to adhere to best web practices to ensure an exceptional user experience. Mobile responsiveness was a paramount consideration, as we strived to create a site that adapted seamlessly to various screen sizes and devices. To empower our client with effortless content management, we implemented a user-friendly Content Management System (CMS).
